Submitting your Paper

Prospective authors can submit an outline paper for either oral or poster presentation. Outline papers should be in the form of an extended abstract, limited to two A4-size pages (including figures and tables), following IWA guidelines, and must contain adequate information to allow a sound referee review.

The outline paper must include the following information:

• Paper title
• All authors’ and co-authors’ names and affiliations
• Type of presentation (for oral presentation, please specify which theme the paper is to be submitted for)
• Email address, postal address, telephone, and fax number of corresponding author
• Summary of the project (in less than 150 words)

Submission should be made online through the IWA Conferences online submission tool, using the template provided, and following the instructions given there.

All submissions should be original and not have been previously accepted for publication in a journal. Authors whose extended abstracts are selected will be invited to submit a full paper for an oral presentation or a poster presentation. This full paper for the oral or the poster presentation should be limited to eight A4-size pages (including figures and tables), following IWA guidelines. The authors of a selected number of full papers will be asked if they like to have their contribution being published in the journal Water Science and Technology.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure that you “APPROVE SUBMISSION” to be able to complete the submission process. Please contact us if you don’t receive manuscript number assigned to your paper within two weeks of your submission.
